Background

Dr. Richard D. Myers is a second generation chiropractor whose family at one time included nine chiropractors.  He grew up in South Central Pennsylvania where he did his undergraduate education at York College of Pennsylvania and Penn State University.

Dr. Myers received his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating with honors in 1983.  Palmer College was founded in 1895 and was the first chiropractic college in the world.  Following graduation Dr. Myers participated in group practice in Louisiana for over three years before returning to his home state in 1987 to start his practice in Waynesboro.

He has been in solo practice ever since with an emphasis on traditional chiropractic practice, spinal rehabilitation, and functional neurology.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Myers enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, and playing tennis.
